After using it daily over a period of time, I found that the hair on my legs was very soft and un-noticeable. Now, like so many people here, I found this site while searching for a place to still buy the shave less lotion! I couldn't believe how soft my skin felt for an extra day AND I now have big issues with irritation, red bumps and all kinds of stuff that I never had before and the only thing that changed is the fact that I can't buy Jergens anymore! It was the only lotion I used everyday because it was so clean feeling. Gross, but I even put it on my underarms and it was great! I now use the Dove, shave less and I actually think it may work...but I'm not as convinced as I was with Jergens. In addition, I bought the expensive Aveeno, hoping the high cost would mean it was better, but it definitely was NOT! I saw no change in my hair growth or softness of my skin. I am Italian, but have blonde hair and have fair to medium skin. WHich means I have a harder time with things like lazer treatment and Nair like products. Everyone talks about all the great things Jergens Shave minimizer cream has done for them but truthfully I don't feel the same. I have used so many different shave minimizing creams and none have done what Jergens did to me. I broke out in a rash, my legs turned bright pink, and I even felt like my legs were on fire. I have used all types of cream but none omg none have done this to my legs. I don't have allergies to anything but this was a whole new world. And it worked really well. I don't shave my legs and arms, i wax or epilate. After using Jergens for about 2 or 3 years, the hair on my legs is fading away and the follicles are even closing up permanently so new hair doesn't grow, the hair that does appear is much thinner :) . I'm really happy with this and in fact, i found this page while googling to see where i could find it, as i'm down to the last bottle. I hope Jergens brings back the product. I remember when my bottle ran out and I was at Walmart searching high and low for it!!! I even asked the Walmart workers...haha they had NO idea what I was talking about and looked at me like I was an idiot, but i didn't care- I WANTED MY JERGENS! I have dark thick hair, and it made a huge difference....then was gone...and I'm still feeling the loss. We NEED to find a way to get it back! I miss it, end of story!
