Lara Logs In With This Question:
Hi there, I love your site!

I am in a panic and I don’t know who to turn to so I thought I’d call in the experts. I have just learned that my tried and true foundation – Cover Girl Aquasmooth has been taken off the market. There was no warning so I didn’t stock up and now I am wondering what am I going to use as a substitute! I have problematic, acne prone skin and this is one of the only products I can use which doesn’t make me break out. Hope you can help!

The Right Brain Says:
Lara, I wish we could give you a definitive answer to your question but we don’t know enough about Cover Girl’s formulas or your individual skin type to precisely diagnose your problem. So, the best we can do is suggest some options for you to check out.

First, you can find some good, basic information on foundations and acne, here.

Or, you can learn about fighting acne with
salicylic acid in foundations, here.

And if you still experience break outs, you can read some tips on how to cover up blemishes, here.

We hope this helps you find a new foundation. Let us know how it turns out for you. Good luck!!
