I have been using the extra mild version of this cleanser for about three months now and absolutely love it.
I have tried tons of cleansers in the past and MANY have left me red, irritated, broken out. I can HONESTLY say I have not had one blemish since I started using this Clinique cleanser.
A bottle lasts quite a long time--you don't need very much of it to work up a little lather. And even though the mositurizers in it do get rinsed off, my skin feels beautiful, hydrated and ready for moisturizer afterwards. You don't really need a cleanser that moisturizes, you need one that cleanses, doesn't over-dry or cause irritations. Your moisturizer is the product that moisturizes...duh!
I don't think anyone believes they can skip a daily moisturizer because their cleanser claims to be moisturizing. It is just a little added benefit.
This cleanser is worth every penny!!

After trying everything from Cetaphil, Cerave, Neutrogena, Aveeno, Paula's Choice to Aquanil, Olay, Dove, Pond's; this is where the buck stopped for me.

I highly recommend the Mild version for Noraml to slightly dry or slightly Oily skin. I have Psoriasis too & this does not irritate at all.

I get occasional zits on my forehead. I was tired of trying EVERYTHING. I was skeptical about trying Clinique, but one day they were selling the 3 way acne system sample size. for only 30 dollars.
Once I began using it. It worked wonders!! My face was reall clear. I would start out with the face soap, then toner, then the benzoyl moisturizer. I only use it at night do it won;t over dry my skin. Or if I feel my skin is to dry I only use the toner in the greasy areas of my face.
I recomend this 100%

All three of these formulas are liquid. It's not suprising that some people love it and others hate it because everyone's taste is different.

In general, you don't need to use toners at all. And you CERTAINLY don't need to use toner with a lot of alcohol.

Is this just the liquid formula? Because I've heard from a lot of people that they find it too drying. It seems that you either love it or hate it. What do you think about Cliniques clarifying lotions? Too much alcohol? Do you think there should be any alcohol at all in toners?
