Would the beauty brains be able to comment on the toluene and formaldehyde resin in the OPI that seems to be lacking in the CoverGirl ingredients list? That would be very helpful for me since I think I would like to avoid those two ingredients!

Hi, nice to see something on nail polish, I am a nail polish FREAK! I love it! I wear all kinds and have quite the collection. While I don't have any Cover Girl nail polishes I do have a few OPI ones, from what I've heard people tend to like the thinness of OPI and the nail brush (makes it easy to paint the nails) I do think that a good nail brush makes a difference, and the OPI one is nice, I find it a bit wide for painting towards the base of my nail beds. That's just me though. Oh and some people like thicker formulas, depends on whether you like fewer thick coats or more thin coats. I always use a base coat and a quick dry top coat and I think that affects how long a polish lasts too.

Oh and I know OPI has a lot of colours. And they do a good job of marketing their seasonal collections too, so that really makes people more aware of the "special status" of the colours. I know this post was written a while ago but OPI was just bought by COTY. Don't know how that will change anything with OPI though!
