I am 18 years old, and i am ashamed and embarassed of how hairy i am :( i have really hairy legs and thighs as well as my bikini area!! In those areas, i have usually 2-3 hairs growing out of one follicle and they are extremely coarse! i wax them here and there but it is very painful. and when i shave it only lasts a couple hours until i feel the thick prickly hairs growing back! i dont know what to do and im afraid to be with a guy because of this! i need a professional answer plleaseeee :/

I waxed my hair on my upper thighs and tummy 9 months ago. Three months later I still had many red spots, double hair growing out of one pore and ingrown hair. I went to the doctor who looked at my skin through a magnifying glass and concluded that my hair around every pore is gone, they were ripped off during the wax. What is there is scar tissue, so now my skin/scar tissue is very sensitive and and you can se the root of the hair very clearly. It is especially visible when two hair grow out of the same pore.

I was sternly advised not to remove hair in any way as my skin is still very sensitive. All my issues still apply (big red spots, double hair out of one pore, ingrown hair that makes new redspots all the time) and the doctor said that my skin will never heal, so what can I say. Waxing is very extreme (ripping the hair, hairsacks and surrounding skin out) and can be very destructive for some people.

Try to right me back sometime in December, I´ll answer you. But be aware that there will be a huge price increase coming November 1st. Take care and good luck!

Hello Mary,
I have just pruchased Crotex Cream and am expecting it in the mail sometime next week. I was afraid it might not work at all, but I´ve read your comment and am so glad I have made the buy. I was even afraid of having it be toxic. Now I´m even more excited to have it knock on my door. Thank you!
