I just want people to know that Differin does work. It was very difficult at first because it seems as though it can make your acne worse. I think it makes things on your face that were going to become pimples developed more quickly. Then along with another topical prescription (duac) it felt like my face was literally melting off! I mean, i could swipe my finger across my cheek and skin would peel away in chunks! But after about 3 or 4 weeks I felt like I went from having grey skin to having a really colorful complexion. I wanted to get rid of just my cystic acne but it also made all my black head not come back... I don't know if it would have gotten rid of the blackheads w/out my squeezing them, but all I know was I went from a chronic, up all night, sort of face picker to never bending over to get closer to the mirror because I hadn't even a blackhead anymore. My acnes scars also became less visible and I'm going to be giving my 55yr old mother some to see if it may help with her wrinkles and general skin tone.
