Bembet Is Bamboozled:
I am tempted to buy Nuskin skin care. I have oily skin and I want to try their line, specifically the Tru Face Revealing Gel and their Facial Wash with Vitamin C. The brand is really expensive and I am impressed with the ingredients but then again I need you to help me decide.
The Right Brain Races To The Rescue: Well Bembet, we’re not impressed with their facial wash. Vitamin C really doesn’t do much from a wash off product, so don’t wash your money down the drain. The Revealing Gel is bit more interesting. While it does seem to rely on hype, at least one of the ingredients in the product, Polyhydroxy Acids or PHAs, has at least some research that indicates its effective.
We’d like to see more information before we make a definitive judgement on Nu-skin. Or, we could go with the Cosmetic Cop’s assessment of Nu Skin, who says, and we quote: I can assure you Nu Skin is not a miracle, a cure, the total answer, or even part of the answer for every woman’s skin-care needs. After all, if the products were miraculous for skin care, why did they reformulate and come out with a new line of products making the same claims only with different ingredients? Nevertheless, the people who sell this line want you to believe it can alter your life as well as your skin. Like most of the other lines I’ve reviewed, this one contains some very good products, some useless ones, and some that are simply overpriced and a waste of money.
The Brains‘ Bottom Line:
We agree with Cosmetic Cops’s concern about falling for over-priced products but we also think you should keep an open mind and review the scientific data that’s available. Unfortunately, we haven’t seen clear data to prove that the PHA’s and other ingredients in Nu Skin are worth it, so it’s hard to say.

$$$$???
hi there, make sure the people telling you these comments are experts, meaning you really know their medical background. Nu skin have their products studied by Stanford University which i think will not put anything cheap or ineffective in the product’s content. if you are really in the industry and doing your due diligence with studying what you’re saying, you’ll find that the comments above are solely based on personal biases and not from an objective judgment.
ite,
Could you provide any support (like a link to research) for what you say?
That products are “studied” by Stanford University says nothing about what the conclusions from the study were.
I can tell you there is a fair number of validated university studies that support the efficacy of many of the products. If you are willing to try the products we will offer a full refund if for some reason you do not get the results you expect. I would be happy to provide you links to any research you are interested in.
I’m an avid user of Nuskin products including the tru face series. Everyone tells me my skin looks better than before which is why I’m still at it. But I do agree their products are over-priced.
I sell new skin and licensed Aesthetician. It is a miraculous product. Call me @ 602-754-5576.

I used to use and sell Nu Skin products over 12 years ago for 7 years. Then I found out about the carcinogenic chemical ingredients in mostly all the products and was completely shocked. I researched the science, the facts and found them to be true. Then I saw Dr. Samuel Epstein on TV, talking about the chemicals in soaps, shampoos, etc., Read his books, many, and he found Neways Int., a true leader in manufacturing their own line of safe and healthy products that will work and are affordable. I have been using them for over 11 years, and my skin has never looked better. I believe the Galvanic spa could help work the muscles in the face tighten, but so can a $30 machine from CVS. Too expensive, too much hype and too many carcinogens.
Your research of the science led you to an erroneous conclusion about the products. They do not represent a significant cancer risk. At least that is the conclusion of the majority of scientists who independently study these things. Why do you think your opinion is more valid than the majority of scientists?
Hi if u wanna buy Nu SKin which is a really good product do email me
)
So does everyone observe that NO BODY ever–EVER–offers a link to an understandable, bona fide scientific study? WHERE do we find that Stanford study? hahahahahahaha
hey, I’m also a distributor of Nu skin here in the Philippines, the truth is almost everything that we apply on our skin and ingest through our mouth are potentially carcinogenic. If you are going to talk about Nu skin products as having carcinogens, then you are speaking for all of the skin products out in the market.I am a registered nurse and we have learned all about health care and such so I know things like this…
Here is a link to a Stanford U. news talking about NuSkin and Standford’s relationship, proving at least, that Stanford DOES do Independent research on NuSkin products. For the research articles themselves, call any NuSkin distributor and request them, they are available to any of them.
