Am reading the comments with interest. Just signed up w/BC a few weeks ago for the discount. Love 'em. Their Brown Sugar line is yummy. And the Spa Sugar set - lovely scent. They have great monthly sales to consultants and discounts on top of that. Wowzers.

I made it very clear that I don't want to sell it. My recruiter was very nice about my decision.

It's no different than belonging to Costco or Sam's Club - you join to get the discount. I also like that BC has no annual resign fee.

Arbonne has many patents on nano technology. They don't use toxins and your post borders on amateur. Saying you can't find the ingrediant list and therefore negating the Arbonne "Truths" is childish. The prices are less than most average products you can buy in CVS. Shelf life FDA laws require 8 to 10 years of chemicals and preservatives that are toxic in order to last that long. Network marketing is the way of the future especially for transparency, truth and pure products. Any fancy brands spend 10's of millions for marketing, middle men, shelf space and location(rent) in fancy stores. Not to mention they could have been sitting there for 5 years.

I think all cosmetic companies have their stinkers, and their really good products. That being said, I like a lot of Beauticontrol products, but I also read Cosmetic Cop (Paula Begoins Reviews) I have also been a beauticontrol consultant,( about 5 years ago) and am thinking of doing so again, just because I want a discount on the products I like and use.
My list would be Cell block C A.M. and P.M., Their wet/dry makeup is good,
eyeshadow, lipstick, and blush. Their concealer sucks. It is just like any other line, some are really good, and others suck. As for marketing, have you seen Estee Lauder, Clinique and others, come on, all are trying for their share of the market. We should all be better versed than to believe print ads or commercials.

I got involved with Arbonne briefly a few years ago, I wanted to "own my own business". It's hard to do that though when you don't believe in the products and have a tough time lying. They're not completely unique in any way and although some products are very nice, that doesn't mean the rest of the line is amazing nor does it mean that it's worth the price. I've used a few beauticontrol products too and I like a few of their skincare products, but again, nothing completely unique. What seems too good to be true, usually is.

Hey Left Brain,
Have you done any "research" on the Perricone MD product line? I know they use Vitamin C-ester in some of their products, and I have heard some people say that this can actually be harmful for your skin when used in the daytime because when UV rays hit your skin C-ester becomes toxic. What do you know about this? Thank you for trying to keep us informed! Janey
