While a relaxer may have plant materials put in it, there is no such thing as a plant-based relaxer. For a relaxer to work you need to load it up with chemicals that will chemically reduce bonds in hair to allow it to be straightened. There is nothing more "natural" about PhytoSpecific than there is about Motions. Silicone does not dry out hair.

Did you even use the product? It really doesn't sound like it. If you did, you would never presume to compare PhytoSpecific with Motions. PhytoSpecific is plant based, Motions is synthetic and laden with silicone, which dries the hair out. I have used both and the price tag on the PhytoSpecific is definitely worth $32. Admittedly, it is not for the consumer more concerned with the price of a product than the results. But there is a marked difference in my hair since using the Vital Force. Really, did you even try it, I have to ask again. Oprah uses PhytoSpecific products as far as I know. Not sure what else she uses.
