My husband completely surprised me on Christmas with two Anna Sui Beach Doll lipsticks, two Beach Doll heads with perfume in them and a cute little matching purse mirror. Such cute packaging.

I gave myself, as a present for a year full of hard work, a great spa /salon treatment, consisting of a massage, manicure, pedicure, hair removal, facial, hair coloring and styling. Now I am ready for the greatest New Year party!

Oh, yes, I prefer people give me money coupons for my favorite stores rather than buy me cosmetics on their own, since I’m quite particular with my makeup.

I love the idea of gifts for yourself. I should try it myself. At least then I know I’ll get what I want. Although, money and gift cards always leave me feeling disappointed.
