All this talk about the terrible things extensions do made me want to take them off immediately which I did just now. I've had them consecutively for about 4 or 5 weeks now with 1 fill. Maybe I caught them at a good time in my cycle but my eyelashes don't look tooooo much shorter or thinner than they did before extensions. Knocking on wood, we will see how it goes this week and if they all fall out.

My story replicates most of the above! Looked fab for first 4 days then started to seperate, became very itchy. I persevered using q tips to pop loose ones back into position. I did not use oil products, get them wet or use mascara... On day 5 woke up with a chunk missing on one eye including my own lashes.... The other eye half were hanging down! I looked stupid..... So used oil to soak them off.... Off they came with my own lashes! So sad! Regret the whole experience! And now got to put up with looking like a freak for a few weeks, months etc! Praying for a speedy return of my natural lashes and I will never worry that they don't curl, not thick enough ever again! My advice to anyone considering getting them DON'T !!!!

Another thing I wanted to mention is that, just like a permanent, or having hair dye or even nail polish on a finger nail, there are chemicals in these things that dry out hair. If you have all your lash extensions removed, don't be surprised to see dried our, misshapen, and broken lashes- but they grow out and your new ones will be virgin hair, and you will be your old self again.
