It's just the thought of 181 other different types of their friends and relations (in sufficient quantities) that makes me a little nervous. I like the fact that we have a lot of symbiotic relationships going on between our bodies and other organisms, in general. Seems affluence wouldn't have an effect on whether or not people are out in the sun without sunscreen. I would think people with more money would be better educated and more capable financially of affording all the skin care products they need, including sunscreen. I know the muscle cream one is true, as it recently happened...and I think a person could become addicted to tanning. Let's say I fall into the "have to have my sun fix" category myself. Sun exposure could cause a release of endorphins, at least for some people, therefore causing a desire for more and more. I think I could be guilty of this...I feel GOOD mentally and physically when I get sun every day. I sure love summer more than winter. As for the mites....this one was a toss up for me and the skin cancer one. I know we carry mites...more than 90% of mammals carry demodectic mites in their hair follicles ( this includes humans) but as for that many species...I am a bit skeptical.
