According to Scientific American…
“Hewlett-Packard has developed a new service capable of receiving photos from cell phone cameras, running them through sophisticated image-processing algorithms, and returning scientifically based recommendations for the shade of foundation, lipstick, blush and eye shadow that best suits a person’s skin tone.”
It works like this: you take a picture of yourself holding a control card that has color swatches on it. Then you upload the picture; they analyze it and send you the best color choices for your skin. I think this sounds like a fun idea. I can’t wait to run around Sephora with my iPhone, taking pictures of Smashbox’s O-glow!
