Hi, I figured as much. Unfortunately again it will not reveal your true hair color. If you read about this Loreal product further, it's a form of bleach and you should not get it close to your roots. It will literally strip off all color or lighten color that is too dark. However if you leave it on too long it can turn your hair orange and roots bright blonde if you're not careful.
Again, Colour Oops will remove old hair color but not reveal your true color.
Be very careful when using it.

good luck.

I was talking about the 'colour oops'. I read some reviews on it yesterday, and apparently it worked for 98% of the people who reviewed it.

Did you even read about this article? It's a JOKE!
And NO no haircolor remover will ever reveal your true color, it will strip your hair down leaving it dry like straw, and ready to be colored again.

Good luck.

Does this colour-removal stuff really work? Does it bring back your real colour for real?

I sent the following email to beautybrains a few weeks ago but never got a response, so this post is actually a blessing:

Finding this blog has been a dream come true! I've been following the tips
in the hair blogs and have had amazing results in the last 5 days! A
complete turnaround! (I switched from washing and drying every day, to
conditioning, washing the roots only, conditioning, leave-in conditioning,
wide tooth comb only, oiling the tips and mostly airdrying and it's gone
from night to day!)

I've got medium thickness mid-back length straight hair now but had
butt-long, beautiful, shiny, slightly wavy, thick bright blonde hair for the
first 15 years of my life. I'm 22 years old and have been colouring my hair
for 7 years now (every colour in the rainbow for a while, now just a blonde
dye job - no harsh bleaching for a few years now). I'm well aware that it's
the worst thing I can do to my hair, and have always wanted to stop, but my
natural colour is a dirty blonde now that I don't much like (although I
haven't seen a fair sized chunk of it in a long time). I have two
questions:

1. What is the best way to "un-dye" my hair? Aside from growing it out
which is gigantically unattractive for months or even years..

2. What can I do to slightly change the colour of my hair that won't do any
further damage? I'm not hot on the idea of darker hair, and prefer a nice
blonde.

Also, in the past when I've tried to go months without dying, I'd always
felt that my hair felt thinner, less lively, and generally dull until I
caved and dyed it again. Was it just me, or is there some explanation for
this?

I hope to hear back soon.

Keep dishing out the good news!

Now, if someone could answer my second question..
