Wow that is great information. Ive been using emu oil for the past 6 months now and it helps ease the pain from swelling that my arthritis gives me. I swear by the stuff! I found heaps of info at http://aboutglycolicacid.com/skin-care-products/emu-oil-cream/ --- hopefully this can help your readers as much as it helped me. Take care and thanks for the great blog!!

Although there may be no 'evidence' that emu oil heals or significantly reduces the effects of burns or scar(but I believe there is, it doesn't mean it doesn't actually produce these kind of superb results. I find it rather interesting that people will send in their testimonials--albeit anecdotal--and others will ask for scientific evidence, implying anecdotal evidence isn't 'enough.' Money should be spent on researching anecdotal claims but it doesn't make testimonials any less valid. Truth be told, even in the face of 'scientific' evidence, it doesn't actually mean the product is going to produce the same results for everyone, that's why you can take two people with the same condition and give them the same treatment and each of them will react differently. Fascinating.

I have oily skin and when I read about the 'oil cleansing method', I was a bit skeptical about adding more oil to my face. But then it made complete sense, oil is needed to dissolve oil. By stripping our skin of oils using astringents and cleansers, the body tells the brain to send oil and hence, the merry go round continues.
I love animals and I don't believe in the slaughtering of any animal for beauty purposes. I trust where I get my emu oil from and to all of you with acne who haven't tried the oil for fear of making your acne worse, I am a testimony to the contrary. Since using emu oil, only a short week, I have seen a significant improvement in the texture, look and feel of my skin. I don't believe it is pore clogging at all!!! As with everything, you must be willing to try something out before you can come up with any conclusions.

I started using emu oil about a year ago when I came across a vender's booth at one of the local farmer's markets. I have very dry and senstive skin and very dry hair, made worse by the desert climate where I live. I've tried everything..oatmeal, tea tree, olive oil, goat's milk..you name it. Nothing has worked better for me to relieve dry skin and reduce wrinkles.

It is true that emu oil could provide some anti-aging benefits to the skin? Hope any one can answer.
