I have been using Dermalogica for many years and it is the brand I recommend in my salon.
My personal favorite? Active Moist!

I do love Dermalogica and for me its less the hype and more the fact they use such natural ingredients. Who knows whether they'll actually do exactly what they say(!) but I think people have to choose something that reacts well to their skin and i have found D to be really good. I really like the special cleansing gel and the daily microfoliant. The place I get them is really non-hypey too and pretty good value. Link is below if anyone is looking for products:

Thanks for the answer Left Brain! I had been trying out Dermalogica's products, but found everything rather underwhelming. Everything made me break out, and my skin was more irritated than usual. I will definitely not be shelling out the money for this product, or any other Dermalogica product, for that matter!

Julia,
I am kind of confused: What are Dermalogica's moisturizing cleansers? What was the intense moisturizer you used? Did you use Intensive Moisture Balance? I find that too heavy and usually recommend Active Moist for my drier clients.
But as for the cleansers, I have never been versed in anything that is considered a "moisture wash." That would be fruitless, as you need moisture to stay on the face and not be washed away.
buenos dias,
Lynnette
