Don't get me wrong, I'm not one to believe the claims on labels of beauty products...but the first few times I used Nioxin, I noticed a rather steep reduction in the number of strands falling off my head.

What could have caused that? According to your article, *any* shampoo will remove DHT from the scalp, but this doesn't match my experience with any of the other product lines I have tried, including other ones claiming to reduce hair loss. So, what's so special about Nioxin that I noticed an effect to this degree?

Since college, my hair has steadily become thinner. I have tried MANY products, and none of them work as well the Shielo Volumizing. Before I tried using it daily, I was told that I should have a picture taken of my scalp before I started using it, so I did. About two months later, I took another picture, and I was truely amazed. My scalp actually had MANY new hairs growing. I was SO happy. I highly recommend Shielo's product if you are looking for something safe to help with hair loss.

ScalpMed product + Nioxin shampoo and conditioner
these all work together at least for me for sure. Slowly, but it WORKS!!! in one year I can get thicker hair.
I vent for vacation and I did not take ScalpMed with me. I lost again my hair in one month. Now I started recovery in one year...So, it seems must be used to the end of my life...:-( but again, it works for me!
