I have to agree with the dermatologist. I think Prell cleans your scalp and hair better than other shampoos. It's kinda like when you have acne and oily skin, and you use regular bar soap to wash your face, and you'll notice it doesn't get the oil out and your face feels clogged. Now, try using acne formula soap like neutrogena, it thoroughly cleans your skin where you don't feel any residue. Well Prell kinda does the same thing. Prell doesn't leave residue on your scalp. I like the way it cleans your hair especially if you have oily hair. It is a bit harsh though to use everyday.

I had heard Prell is good to use to get rid of lice. Is this correct; if so, how do you treat it?

I use Prell occasionally as a clarifying shampoo but not everyday. HOwever, Prell is the BEST shampoo for teenage boys. They go through that hormonal stage when their hair still smells even after shampooing and Prell is the only product that really cleans it. Even our hairdresser remarked that my sons hair looked so clean and healthy and she was surpised that it was from the Prell. I don't know how well it would work on sensitive skin though.

I have sensitive-ish skin with breakouts, and I read in Leslie Baumann's book that I should avoid sodium laureth sulfate. I have been and I notice that I break out less, I've also noticed that avoiding shampoos with it has helped my scalp as well.
