I bought it and enjoy it, but you are correct - it's just a nice light moisturizer. Good to spritz on through the day, but that's all. It does smell really nice, in my opinion. In defense of MAC, when I bought this the sales girl made no outrageous claims and only said "This is really nice and makes winter skin feel amazing".
