One Response to “Most Expensive Cosmetic Quiz - Beauty Brains Poll Returns”

  1. Joe Says:

The only reason this quiz will stump anyone is its deceptive nature! Van Cleep and Arpels is noted for its gem encrusted items including lipstick holders. The $215,000 perfume referenced in the quiz has a cost that can be attributed to the “Baccarat crystal bottle that has five-carat white diamonds on it and is decorated with an 18 carat-gold collar.” and its perceived rarity: only 10 made with only 5 for sale. I assume Beauty Brains wants to determine if we can find the reference for a moisturizer or nail polish that is extraordinarily expensive sans container! Then again a story in 2003 entitled “FAA Proposes $70,000 Penalty Against Queen Nail & Beauty Supplies, Inc for Hazmat Violations” involves by deductive reasoning “nail polish”.

So I’ll vote for the $2000 moisturizer!
