I was beyond amazed to be given the opportunity to sniff and test out 14 different Bond No. 9 perfumes. Yes, you read that right, 14 different scents. Being a somewhat newbie to the scent business, it was a tad overwhelming, but oh so rewarding.
Scent is such a subjective and personal matter. What I think smells wonderful might smell like poop to you. I do want to make this disclaimer first: I’m a sucker for citrus notes and jasmine. However, I think I have a pretty picky nose, and the scents I like are quite universal. Hopefully that’ll mean that the three scents I’ve picked out of all of Bond No. 9’s women’s perfumes are ones that you will all enjoy.
Best of Bond
With that being said, here are my top three Bond No. 9 perfumes in no particular order:
- Scent of Peace
- Hamptons
- Saks Fifth Avenue for Her
Scent of Peace lives up to its name. The scent is so soft, relaxing, and peaceful, that it immediately calms your head. One small spritz on your wrist (or neck, or décolletage) provides a full day of aromatherapy. From the Saks Fifth Avenue website, its “Notes of sparkling, energizing grapefruit and blackcurrant are balanced by the sheer loveliness of lily of the valley, and mellow base notes of cedar wood and musk.” I do love grapefruit, and the scent of blackcurrant is so soothing, this makes it the perfect perfume to wear for a relaxing Sunday brunch.
Hamptons is another scent with citrus and floral notes, combined with a very subtle hint of musk. It smells sweet and a teensy bit spicy, and the scent just lasts all day. The jasmine note really stands out in Hamptons, and like I said above, I do love how jasmine smells, so it won me over immediately. The other notes include lime blossom, bergamot, combined with magnolia, white jasmine, with a touch of amber and sandalwood. I must warn you though, wearing Hamptons to work may cause you to day dream about vacationing in the Hamptons!
Saks Fifth Avenue for Her is a scent that I grew to love over time. When I first applied a bit on me, I thought I was choking in floral tones. Like all other Bond No. 9 scents, Saks Fifth is extremely complex and layered. When I wear this, I end up taking deep breaths every so often just to see how the scent has changed. After a long day of work, the most beautiful and soft floral scent just lingers on my body, making all of my coworkers fall in love with me. Yes, it is that beautiful. I can imagine myself being a beautiful and sophisticated Fifth Avenue woman shopping at Saks when I wear this. Notes include gardenia, jasmine (my favorite), vetiver, and vanilla.
Perfumed present
Since Valentines Day is coming up, I recommend you lovely ladies to nudge your loved ones over to the perfume counter to pick up an iconic star shaped bottle of Bond No. 9 perfume. If you want to splurge even more, you can get bottles with Swarovski crystals on them, to make your vanity table just a bit shinier and prettier.

The description of Scent of Peace sounds yummy! But as I have no way to test it in person (I have not seen any Bond fragrances in Finland), no way I’m ordering something worth almost $200 unsniffed.
Hi,
I bought Bond No. 9’s Little Italy cologne. I love their candles because the fragrance was so strong and permeated throughout the room. Unfortunately, the cologne doesn’t not last as long as the candle. I noticed the scent is almost completely gone after about half an hour. Truly disappointing.
I wasn’t given any samples when I went to my Saks. I liked three of them a lot but it started getting mixed together since they didn’t have the coffee beans. I need to try something on me for a few days before buying. I have too many perfumes that I stopped loving after the 2nd or 3rd days of use.
I totally love West Side. I don’t know why Chris thinks the cologne doesn’t last. I got a sample at Saks last week and the test card still smells and I took a shower after wearing and could still smell it. LOVED IT!!! Worth every cent.
Bond 9 scents are additing, I first got hooked with Chinatown and could not forget it till I got it. Then it was Peace, I have never experienced such complicated fragrance that do not let you forget them.
First saw Bond No 9 in Selfridges in London. I love vanilla base (think Burberry Brit) and loved West Side Story. Have since been reading about Nuits de Noho (would love to try) and Chinatown (loved the bottle). Was told in London it was exclusive to only a few stores however am seeing it everywhere on ebay and with discount perfume sellers. Not sure what to do as don’t want to pay over 100 Aussie dollars to end up with a knockoff. Anybody who can point me in the direction of a very reputable discount fragrance seller, I would be very grateful. Our aussie dollar stronger against the USD so now’s the time to buy – works out expensive though if it’s an imitation!
Bond no 9 scents are veryyyy good!
But my all time fav is light blue by D&G! Just restocked from

Was only $40 when i used to buy it for $60! Crazy!
I love this site!
I too am addicted to the bond scents! I used to be a creed gal but Bond has won me over with their fresher, more updated take on scents. To the lady wondering about purchasing on ebay and discount parfum stores, I would go ahead and give it a try. I have bought 3 bond products on ebay in the last two weeks and they all are authentic, new and unopened. I purchased two bon bon kits. One with 16 fragrances and one with 18 fragrances….25oz each fragrance so much larger than sample sizes. The kits retail for $260 each and I got them both for around $120 each. I also purchased a bottle of Madison Soiree 1.7 oz. New, unopened in box for $51. If you prefer to go with an online store, scentiments.com has the best prices I have seen for Bond and Creed scents. I have been happy with my purchases from them as well. My favorite Bond scents are Westside, Chinatown, Scent of Peace and Fire Island. I also love Chelsea Flowers, Park Avenue and madison soiree…those three are very floral though and I like a more sweet and oriental scent. I two am a sucker for Jasmine…especially Jasmine with Vanilla so I can’t wait to try Saks for Women by Bond! anyone like me who was new to Bond and wanted to try several scents out for a while before purchasing a large bottle, I would recommend the bon bon kits like I bought. It does not end up being a bad deal for $120-$140 on ebay b.c you get 18 1/4 ounce size scents. So that totals 4.5oz total which is 1.2oz larger than the large bottles of Bond fragrance. plus the bon bon bottles are sprayer bottles which I prefer. I also saw several sellers on ebay selling sample sizes for really cheap. Several selling 10-20 samples of the same of different fragrances. That could be another way to go in order to try several…if you don’t have a store near you which will give out samples (I don’t). everyone have a great week!
