		<description>If I remember correctly, the isotopes are from the water supply - depending on the rain in your area different isotopes are dropped in the rain (heavier isotopes first, the farther the clouds travel the lighter the isotopes). Hence due to the water you drink. But that&#039;s me remembering a radio story I heard while trying to corral my three toddlers, so who knows if I&#039;m putting the fragments together correctly!</description>

		<description>It is true that theives snip off the braids of unsuspecting women -- such cases have been reported in India, which, coincidentally, is also the largest exporter of human hair. 
I suppose it would also be possible to 
detect the city you live in, by checking levels of pollutants in your hair -- similar to determining the level of arsenic/heavy elements in your hair. 
The part about blonde-spotting making one stupid is just plain silly, however.</description>
