Wanted to point out that I never use a toner by itself. I use a cleanser first then the toner. The cleanser is designed to take out the majority of the excess oil. I think toners are to remove any residual oil, and tighten pores.

Hi Kripata,

I meant that this toner might be good for someone who has oily skin that doesn't want to use harsher toners (like the neutrogena and biore). This toner is actually made for oily skin, as it says in the review. I, in no way, would say that this toner would be good for someone with sensitive skin. The Lahens Viarr line makes other toners that may be well-suited to people with sensitive skin, but this is definitely not it.

Kripata: Thanks for your comment. The primary objective of our blog is to educate and most of what we publish is focussed on explaining how product really work. So providing "reliable information" is still our focus.

But recognizing that some of our readers like to see product reviews, we decided to allow our Forum members to contribute occasional posts about their experience with specific products.

We recognize that these posts have a different appeal than those written by the Left, Right, and MidBrain, and we hope that you appreciate them in a different way. But if our community makes it clear to us that they do NOT want reviews on our site, we'll discontinue them. We're always experimenting with our site trying to make it better for you. Some of those experiments will work and some won't.

Either way, feedback like yours is essential and we thank you for your honest input.

What does everyone else think? Sounds like time for a Beauty Brains Poll!
