I have a theory that because it has no preservatives, and the expiration date they give seems to make it last only three months, maybe if it is expired (which ours was due to the baby hiatus) then it causes infection. Or maybe my chemistry is just different since the baby. Weird, but thanks to the other comments I think I'm going to try some of the alternatives mentioned.
