I laughed out loud at the above concession regarding butane:

How is that a whole different subject???
Isn’t it a good idea to boycott products that harm the environment?

i should have read the whole thing. i do not use aerosol cans that much thanks for the information. well is it harmful on the skin?

No you did not read that right. What you read was butylene glycol or the longer version of the extraction butyrospermum its shortened to butybetaine. LOL. ITS AN EXTRACTION FROM SHEA BUTTER (parkii). thats all hon, not lighter fluid. I think olay would be locked behind bars for that. FDA does not efficently regulate but they regulate somewhat and lighter fluid is not one of the ingredients in olay products. LONG ANSWER FOR A LONG QUESTION!!!!!

Olay Definity Mousse Cleanser is an excellent refining cleanser. It has microbeads, and a formula that provides some deep cleansing action. I’ve had no problem with it, despite whatever effect the ‘butane’ has on the formula.
But.. I only use it a few times a week.

Deep cleansing products should not be used daily.
