I have had this problem for years. Question for those of you that use powder - how the heck do you wear black (or any other dark color for that matter)??

I have found that the only thing that works for me is Clinical Secret. Expensive yes, but priceless too! One swoop, each breast and I will be dry all day. I know that there are other clinical brands now but the only one I have tried is Secret.

I cannot stand an underwire bra (can't figure out who came up with that particular torture device) and will go to extremely long lengths to find bras that do not have them. Easier said than done!

I have hidradenitis suppurativa and I will go to the ends of the earth to avoid sweat in the under breast area. Sweating under the breasts cause huge boil like area that can linger a half a year or more each.

This is what I do:

I dust plenty of baby powder under 'the girls' and put on my bra. Then I take two highly absorbent paper towels, and fold or roll them into long, once-inch strips. I put one strip under each boob. Kind of like an underwire made of paper towelling. If done carefully, each piece will be firmly anchored by your bra. After the workout, toss out the wet paper towel strips and your bra is clean and dry.

Yes i agree that Bra mates are a good alternative too, the use of chemicals and deodorants can actually cause more problems by clogging the pores.

Another thing is to try and check what the bras are manufactured because many synthetic fibers cause sweat, sometimes cotton as opposed to nylon may not look the most attractive, but everyday use it will be better.

Bacteria can be a problem on the breasts and under the arms, but if you are showering daily and using good products which are anti bacterial and not laden with fragrances, your risk of bacterial infection will be minimal.

Finally don't forget, while we all hate to smell bad and the thought of sweat can make us feel insecure, sweat is a very good way the body excretes chemicals and toxins, we should actually all welcome the idea of sweating once a day, and increase our water intake, so many of us simply do not drink enough.

BraMates bra liners are the best solution to control breast sweat. Using cornstarch, arrowroot, or any other organic material is just providing a breeding ground for fungus and bacterial growth. As far as antiperspirants and deoderants are concerned...how many more chemicals should we put on our bodies? BraMates are absorbant bra liners that will keep you comfortable, prevent embarrassment from breast sweat leakage, and save money by helping keep corrosive breast sweat from ruining undergarments and garments. And all done naturally, without chemicals. BraMates are washable and discreet. Throw them in the wash with your underwear and bra. You'll be happier, more confident, and more comfortable.

Sweat s not the problem (unless you are worried over wet marks) it is stale sweat that lingers, irritates and smells. Accept that sweat is natural and cools you. Breasts need to be exercised like any part of the body. A simple exercise to allow your breast tissue to 'have a drink' is to bend forward placing your chest wall horizontal to the ground (hips at right-angles). Stay here for 5-10 breathes. Avoid if medical problems ie hypertension. Allow mother earth to work via gravity. Chest opening exercises and backbends also help. Topless dancing, massages or wiggles that allow the breast to freely move also help. Learn to love your natural anatomy do not hate it as an inconvenience. Yoga teacher and medical professional.
Conclusion: exercise.
