Just curious- how many of those of you leaving comments here saying the Brains are wrong about toners are medical scientists, cosmetic chemists or dermatologists? Anyone?

It just never ceases to amaze me how some people can simply disregard fact in order to defend their personal beliefs.

Sweety, have you tried to treat your oily skin from inside?, you can visit an endocrinologist. Oily skin may be related with some hormonal problems such as hyperthyroidism.

This article is wrong about the amount of time it takes your skin to repair and rebuild the acid mantle. It takes about 14 hours to return to normal and by this time most people have washed their face again... so damage is being done consistently and never repaired.
It seems dumb to do the damage in the first place when it can be avoided by using a Cleanser/Toner with a pH between 4-6.5
