I have a question: Where I live it has been oppressively hot. If I don’t wash my hair every night, it smells of sweat and stink the next day. Is it ok, if in this obnoxiously hot weather (in my friend Kelly’s words), if I wash it everyday?

That’s a great list. I love real advise not the commercial kind that is just trying to sell their product.

Pretty good list — but I noticed that they still nodded to the industry by saying “Keep getting regular trims!” If I’d done that, my hair would have stayed right at my collar while the stylist commiserated with me like, “Awwww, well, honey, some women just can’t have long hair!” while she was snipping away …

If you handle your hair gently and wear it up often, six months with no trims is just not going to be a problem.
