Beauty Brains, you left BHA (salicylic acid) peels out of your list of available chemical peels.

Hey there!
I'm a cosmetic Scientist myself and this is my idea of the question (backedup with studies ofcourse)

The Hayflick Limit the scientist is refering to, means that the mother cells can only divide about 52 times. But exfoliation and (mild)chemical peels have no effect to these mother cells.
Infect ingredients like Retinoids can even make sure that The Hayflick Limit is expanded from 52 till...
They only bad thing of using a scrub/peel too often is that the skin receptors will become lazy and thus won't give signals no more to there where needed.

Great post! Still, could you elaborate - would you actually recommend avoiding chemical peels altogether (for the long-term benefits of the skin)? Or do you think they do offer some benefits?
