I got a sample of this in my Sephora Mascara Sampler around Christmas. It had all of the top rated mascara's from Sephora, and this was definitely my favorite! I was surprised, but it was the one that worked the best, and I swear my lashes are a little longer than they were a couple weeks ago. Plus the brush really coats your lashes. I'm actually going to buy a full size version. It still kills me to spend $20 on mascara, but it's worth it, it makes my eyes look so much bigger. =)

Well, I guess I should have looked into this product a little more before getting too excited and running out to get it! I didn't realize it has a "water proof" affect when trying to get off (remove) My eyes hurt for hours after trying to scour all of if off, it looked to me like an oil base just moving around my face away from my eyes as I was rubbing off, that would not lift off. I thought I would like the brush, but I am a kind of girl that likes the fat round or oval brushes Cover Girl offers with their big orange and red tube mascaras (think I will continue to stick with them) :) I like Smashbox products so I can't say I never gave this one a try, doesn't mean that it's not for you - - - it just wasn't for me! :)

@Maiira - Companies use science because it's a way for them to differentiate their product from everyone else. If you have two companies offering a mascara, which one will you decide to buy? Some people go for the cheaper price. But most people go for the better story.

"I just want to know if it’s lightweight and makes my lashes look longer."

Er...and by "it," I mean the mascara. Specification fail.
