Can You Style Your Hair With Cereal?

by Mid Brain on July 19, 2009 · 3 comments

Mid Brain reports:

Here’s an interesting new product from Laboratorios Fisa in Venezuela: a combing cream that contains corn and wheat based ceral conditioneractive cereals to provide nutrition and protection to your hair. Grain extracts certainly aren’t bad for your hair (unless you have a gluten allergy!) but they also don’t do anything good for your hair either.

Combing cream formulas, on the other hand, can be good for your hair. They’re a special type of leave-in conditioner that makes the hair smooth and easy to style. They’re very popular in Latin America and this Beauty Brain is interested to see if this styling trend catches on in the US and UK as well. It’ll also be interesting to see if Active Cereals catch on!

Ah, so it does effect even though you don’t eat it. Thanks. I have a wheat allergy which I guess means I can’t use the Aveno with wheat extracts either.

I have very dry, curly, unruly hair. I need heavy conditioners and heavy leave in condiditoners. The best ones for me are normally a heavy cream with wheat protiens. They seem to work the best. I would be interested in try this product. Could you tell me where I can get it?
