Beauty Brains, can you clarify one thing?

After having quite a few rounds of laser surgery last year to remove hyperpigmentation on my face, neck, and arms, I've been determined to do everything I could to keep the ugly freckling away. As a result, I have been applying Skinceuticals C E Feurlic (contains vitamins C & E) daily for a year now in addition to my religious use of a sunscreen. I put the C & E serum on at night and the sunscreen on in the morning. Now I'm concerned that this is not the correct application for both to work together. Should I be applying both in the morning instead?
