This month Mid Brain reports on new cosmetic science stories while the Left and Right Brains take time off to work on the new Beauty Brains book.

Mid Brain reports:

It’s too late to use at the beach this year (at least in North America) but here’s an intriguing new skin product that claims to stop sand from sticking to your body. Think how much easier it would be to clean up after a day at the beach! Click the link to read about Sandsation Body Powder.

What do YOU think? Is sticky sand a big enough problem to get you to buy another product? Leave a comment for the rest of the Beauty Brains community.

I figure that if you go to the beach, you’re going to get sand on you. What’s the big deal? But I have heard of using powder to stop sand from sticking. If you didn’t want to get too sandy, you can always use regular talc-free powder like Burt’s Bees or corn starch.
