Oh please do! I have a bad allergic reaction every time I'm exposed to Simple Green but no one believes me (except my mom whom has the same reaction) claiming "It's all natural and biodegradible! You CAN'T be allergic to something like that!"

*mutters* Yeah, just like it's "all in my head" how cinnamon, paprika, and bell peppers make it hard for me to breath, lilies break me out in hives, pussy willows make me itch, and pork gives me a violent stomach ache!

"I’m tempted to start a new blog..." I hope you do! Over a decade ago, I had hives for 5 months. Turned out to be a soy allergy, but my HMO's one allergist tried to convince me that the unscented detergent, shampoo, ivory soap *something else* was to blame (he felt that soy was good for women...?) Anyway, I researched every chemical and additive out there that was on the products I used. There were maybe accessible 2 books, some medical sites and no one was blogging. Y'all here at the Beauty Brains write in a way that is clear and coherent, even to those of us with a medical background ;)

I no longer have a rash -- soy-free since 1995 -- so I really don't keep up with what's good and bad in cleaning products, but I do follow this blog and, of course, read all labels, even on the pet's foods.
