Mid Brain reports:
In the time it takes you to read this article, 75% of the people you know and love will become infected with Swine Flu.
Actually that’s not true, I just made it up. Things aren’t really that bad. In fact, according to a study by the Soap and Detergent Association, it looks like this year Americans are protecting themselves from flu infection by washing their hands more than ever before.
In 2008 we scored a C minus on the Clean Hands Report Card (yes, there really is an annual “Clean Hands Report Card!). In September 2009 we raised our grade to a B minus. Yay! I don’t have to follow your link to know who washes their hands more often, men or women. I used to work in a restaurant, and I NEVER needed to refill the soap in the gentlemen’s restroom, because it never was empty! Eeeek…
@Kamikatze: So that means guys are touching their…thingies and not washing their hands???? Ewwwwww!
Yes, hand washing is important to help prevent illness. I even keep hand sanitizer in my purse and on my desk, it’s just a simple thing I can do to help stay healthy!
