Top 10 Beauty Science Toys

by Sarah Bellum on November 30, 2009 · 16 comments

(Since it’s Cyber Monday Lefty and Righty said I could rerun last year’s post on beauty science toys.)

The mission of the Beauty Brains is to educate our community on the science behind beauty care. It’s especially important to get this message to Teens and Tweens who may not have the critical thinking skills they’ll need to sort out the BS from the Beauty Science. Unfortunately, many kids are turned off by science because it’s not presented to them in an entertaining and meaningful way.spa-science.jpg

Fortunately, there are a number of educational toys on the market that make learning about science fun. So to do our part to help spread the word about science education (and to help you with gift shopping ideas) we present…

Uh oh…thanks but no thanks. I didn’t do too well in chemistry in high school. With my luck I would combine the ingredients incorrectly and POOF…I would have more wrinkles not less!

I’ll leave this to the less science-challenged! Sounds fun but too dangerous in my hands!

Judy-too funny! I wish I had a girl in my family to buy this stuff for!

All these boys in our lives are cute, but we DEFINITELY need some girls! :)

Wow! I love this idea!

I think they’re definitely “big girl” toys, too. I know I wouldn’t mind having one or two of them, wrapped up in pretty paper, under my Christmas tree this year!
