I don't enjoy the smell of Axe, but I do find it useful. The aromatic blend of desperation and unfounded bravado helps me know which guys to avoid.

Axe is like Coke Zero. The same damn stuff women use, but men and boys are scared to get girl cooties from using girl stuff. *rolls eyes*

Hygiene is apparently inherently female. *makes icky face* That answers nagging questions about some of the men I've known ...

Never bought the hair scrub, but I buy the body wash, just clean, and just soft for my 12 yo son. I wanted him to have something distinct (he has 2 sisters) to encourage him to wash (ahhh, boys).

One sister tried the Just Soft one night (my girls tear through the conditioner). Her hair came out very soft. I am suprised she doesn't use it more often.

The ad campaign is funny -- but the proof in the pudding is in the eating. Before I remarried I thought Axe smelled great on the men I dated. Despite trying, hubby still sticks to his Old Spice--still popular among men.
