We occasionally answer questions about how various plastic surgery techniques work. If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to have cosmetic reconstruction but were worried how it would look for you, here’s a new website (via Inventor Blogspot) that shows you have you’d like after cosmetic surgery.
NewBeauty.com lets you upload a picture and then perform virtual cosmetic surgery on yourself. You can do eyebrow lifts, lip injections and different types of facial fillers. Of course, this is a bit gimmicky because no matter how good the website is, the skill of the surgeon doing the procedure is still the most impactful factor. Still, its good for a giggle.
What do YOU think? Would you use a site like this to preview yourself before cosmetic surgery? Leave a comment and share your thoughts with the rest of the Beauty Brains community.

Yikes! Another fine companion photo, you seem to find such great images. I’ll think I’ll get my surgery with Photoshop still.
Where do find the section to do this?
That site is a little bit to “gimmicky” as you put it to me. There are too many factors going in to really get an understanding of what the end result “should” look like. Don’t they have this type of technology when someone serious about cosmetic surgery goes in for a consultation?
Where’s the said program? I can’t seem to find it.
Wow that’s interesting.
There’s really no need to get surgery for age related issues anymore (with all the recent breakthroughs).
Surgery to change the way you look… well I guess that depends on how you look compared to how you want to look!
Either way, you’re right, websites like that are good for a giggle at the very least.
Alright, apparently IE8′s ad blocking software keeps this from showing up because I had to find it in Firefox.
