The idea for the Beauty Brains was originally thought of as a radio show. We are big fans of Car Talk and thought a show about cosmetic chemists answering beauty questions would be clever and entertaining. However, creating a blog was a lot less work so we went that way instead. But the idea of a show continued to intrigue us. So, we thought we’d give it a try.
Here for the first time ever is an episode of The Beauty Brains podcast.

Can you tell what what can be done for under eye “bags” short of surgery? I’ve tried every cream under the sun, most of which I’m allergic to and which actually aggravate the condition. I even bought the Clarisonic Opal, which does help quite a bit, I guess because the stimulation helps move the fluid out of the under eye area. Is there any kind of laser which works on that area? My skin is in great condition for my age;the only thing that “ages” me is those bags, which I inherited form my mother and which I’ve had all my life.

@Kathryn – Not to worry, we’ll continue to write the blog. I know things haven’t been as good as they’ve been in the past and we will soon be getting back to more blogging. This ‘secret project’ has been taking much of our time.
@Sandy – iTunes will be up as soon as they take it. It usually requires about 6 episodes before they put it in their library.
@Judy – We’ll investigate further but at the moment, there isn’t anything that I know of that actually works.

I’m really surprised that Left Brain is a dude. Perhaps a teensy bit disappointed, but only because it was very pleasant to claim such a scientifically-minded person for our sex.
I am listening to this pod cast for my first time.
I do not see a video — I am only able to hear the audio. How can I see the video. Without seeing a video while listening is not good for me.
2nd thing is I would like to know how long the pod cast is before I begin listening.

Something that can be done for under eye bags short of surgery: check mattress, carpet, and anything, for mites. Get rid of carpet, feather blankets, pillows, and anything that could possibly be a home to mites in your bed room. Worked for me
