BamDay is bothered…I’ve heard a ton of hype abut the Stages of Beauty Products. Their claims seem exaggerated, and since their products are on the more expensive side, I was wondering if there is any proof of effectiveness in their claims/ ingredients lists? In particular their moisturizer and serum for 20 yr olds.
The Right Brain replies:
Stages of Beauty does have an interesting marketing spin because they claim to be the first brand formulated according to your age. (I’m pretty sure this isn’t entirely true because I’ve seen other products segmented by age. I can’t recall any examples off the top of my head. Does anyone else out there remember any other age related product lines?) Of course the real question is do they have any differentiated technology that would make their products worth the price. Let’s take a look at the Stages of Beauty serum that BamDay asked about.
Stages of Beauty Radiance Antioxidant Serum ingredients
Purified Water (Aqua), Hyaluronic Acid, Aspalathus Linearis (Red Tea) Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Ethyhexylglycerin
The Beauty Brains bottom line
While we haven’t looked at the entire Stage of Beauty line, I certainly see no reason to spend $75 for 1 ounce of this serum.

The best thing about Stages of Beauty products is there customer service. If you dont like a product that will replace it without a question or offer you a refund. Plus you have 60 days to make a decison on their products, which a 30 days more then other top sellers.
I only purchased from them once because I am a beauty addict; however, I did find the liquid serum to work well on my multi-racial skin.
This is literally the first time I’ve heard of a brand that categorizes their products based on age. It makes sense, but I’m just wondering what they do to differentiate between products for different ages?
Beauti-Control had an age line and so does Avon.
