Cold fusion may still be a scientific pipe dream but you can have berry fusion in your shower today. (I love writing corny crap like that…)

Softsoap has launched a new body wash that claims to “Leave skin feeling soft with energizing citrus fragrance and real berry extracts.” Here are a couple of observations about the product:

  • The foamy part of the formula is a standard SLES/betaine mixture which is good at providing low cost lather.
  • The floating moisture beads are actually polyethylene and, unlike many products, these little scubbers don’t feel abrasive against skin which is nice.
  • The fragrance, probably the key selling feature, is appropriately scrumptious and does a great job of capturing the essence of both citrus fruits and berries.

Trivia question: how do they keep those little moisture beads from sinking to the bottom of the bottle? They’re suspended with an ingredient called acrylates copymer. Ask for it by name!

Citrus Splash & Berry Fusion Body Wash Ingredients

Even though the Beauty Brains don’t do traditional reviews, from time to time we like to share new products that we’re trying. We want you to know that we received free samples in exchange for a mention on our blog and that we’re not necessarily recommending you buy anything. We’re just sharing new product news; please do your own research before you buy.
