Two new goodies came in the mail today…

Sun Bum Lip Balm

Can you get hooked on lip balm? I don’t know but I could get hooked on the tasty flavors that Sun Bum uses in their SPF lip balm line: Banana, Pink Guava, Mango, Coconut, Key Lime and Pomegranate. They’re yummy AND they contain Avobenzone, Homosalate, Octisalate, Octinoxate to protect your lips from the sun.

Sun Bun Active Ingredients

Avobenzone 2.00%, Homosalate 15.00%, Octisalate 5.00%, Octinoxate 7.50%

GUD Pearanormal Activity Natural Body Mist

Three surprising things about this product:

  • The name “Pearanormal activity” is THE best play on words I’ve heard in quite some time.
  • Although the product is named “pear and acai berry” there is nary a drop of either to be found.  Instead it includes lavender, rosemary, and ginger. Go figure. ( I was even more surprised that Siri knew how to spell Acai when I dictated this post.)
  • GUD is a relatively new line made by Burt’s Bees.

GUD Natural Body Mist Ingredients

Water, fragrance, Coco glucoside, lavender extract, rosemary extract, ginger extract, potassium sorbate, citric acid, alcohol

We’re big time bloggers so we got samples of these product for FREE. You’re not so lucky so before you spend your hard cash on anything we tell you about, please do your own research.

Pink Guava sounds unique enough to be worth it! Thats how I would buy my lip balm off the internet lol but seriously I would only buy something online I couldnt get in a store.

I like how the packaging of their (Sun bum) sunscreen looks like wood! Neat!

I dont really like Burts bees they products are so poorly preserved I got a burts bees gift pack for my mom for xmas one year and about a year later you could tell all the unused product was bad beyond doubt. I am kind of wondering if their new perfume would be easy on my allergies which are sometimes bothered by perfumes but I cant see it be less irritating just because its natural extracts.

Always looking for a new lip balm. I’m a slave to whatever they sell at Walgreens though. Thanks for posting, I’ll definitely be checking these out!

Isn’t coco glucoside a surfactant? Not sure why it’s in a body mist? Further clarification would be appreciated. thanks!
