Somersets Shaving Oil is an interesting new product that’s based on a mixture of oils rather than foaming surfactants. It’s a different kind of shave that will appeal to some women more than others. Our evaluator found that armpit shaving with the oil was very difficult but shaving legs was reasonably ok. This makes sense technically since oils won’t wet the hair like a surfactant solution will. Still, if you don’t like traditional foams you might want to give these a try. You can find them here: www.somersets.com
