Who doesn’t love a long lasting lip gloss? Rimmel London’s new Stay Glossy ($4.99) promises a full 6 hours of savory shine.  Unlike some other glosses that are formulated primarily with mineral oil, Rimmel uses very water proof materials like polybutene and polyisobutene which helps maintain gloss after oils wear off. The only downside is that these materials can make a formula feel stickier.

Additionally, the product  claims to provide “double the moisture instantly.” This is interesting since there’s no water in the formulation. I suppose they could be using a Ski-Con device to measure skin conductivity which tracks well with how much moisture is in the skin. Regardless, there’s enough emollient material in the formula to make your lips feel soft.

I have three of these lip glosses. They are nice colors, feel good on the lips, and are inexpensive, but they absolutely do not last any longer than any other “regular” lip gloss.

Please have a give away for these lip glosses!

I think the stickyness is worth it if it really does last longer. Some people that really bugs them but not me.

I have a couple of this lip gloss and I like it. It doesn’t last six hours, but what gloss does? I think it’s soft, smooth, and the right amount of sticky so it does last a bit longer than other glosses but not so sticky that it’s uncomfortable.

Great gloss! I’ve tried these, and it is hard to beat the price! Another good one is Bonne Bell! I have been using it for years and it doesn’t feel as sticky!
