Researchers have figured out a way to “recycle” excess skin from weight loss operations into usable grafts to help with a number surgical procedures. Since the supply of skin from recently deceased donors isn’t enough to fill the surgical demand, the Musculoskeletal Transplant Foundation, the nations largest tissue bank, is now working with almost 70 surgeons around the country on a new living skin donation program.

Insect repellant 1000X stronger than DEET
Malaria is a huge problem around the world so a more powerful bug repellant could save lives. Researchers have created a new compound called VUAA-1 that’s more effective than the current state of the art ingredient, DEET.
What does “green” really mean?
According to Aveda, cosmetics brands need to ensure that the word ‘green’ is used correctly and does not confuse consumers. But who’s definition should we use? Perry says “green” is like porn – you know it when you see it.

Perry found a newspaper article about meaningless beauty claims.
“…works with your skin…”
“…can be used wet to dry…”
“…can be mixed and matched…”
