Do you believe in ESP?

Here's one from my favorite source for new science stories, Daily Science.com. According to researchers, they used neuroimaging to explore whether ESP exists or it doesn't. Their finding...it doesn't.
But for some reason I don't think that will convince everyone.
What about the Beauty Brains community? How many of you believe that ESP is real? With the proliferation of tv shows like Medium, The Dead Zone and Psychic's Challenge, it seems like more and more people are convinced.
Even though I want to believe it's true, my science brain says, "No way!" How about yours?

I see a lot of products out there that use various clays; Kaolin, bentonite,
Fullers Earth, Rhassoul etc. I have tried to find out the actual properties
of these clays and have struggled through scientific reports. Some say that
clay inhibits bacterial growth, or it may accelerate it. Some say it clogs
pores, some say it clears toxins from your skin. What is true about which
clay-type?

Just thought I'd get the conversation going about the latest Beauty Brains poll. I know I'm not a big fan of vitamin supplements (I believe people should get these things by eating fruits and vegetables) but do you really think they could cause heart problems?

What do you think, is this week's poll a little too easy?

It's been literally years since I actually paid any attention to store brand soaps and shampoo/conditioners in my local grocery stores. I've been using things less irritating to my skin, hair and scalp. Mostly Shikai shampoo and shower gel.

My first thought was, "Holy crap these are expensive!". Eight bucks for 16 ounces of shower gel? What a racket!

And then, oooo, look at the happy, shiny, sexy packaging. :p Someone has been working overtime on repackaging the same formulas as "new". But it all comes down to ingredients after all, doesn't it? And I actually read a lot of them-shampoos, conditioners, and shower gels. Except for a few "exotic" ingredients recently added to some products, they seemed the same to me. Water, detergents, silicones, etc.

I've been hearing that Dove has become a very good drugstore skin care and hair care line. I've also read about their new Pro Age line. I know it's geared towards us menopausal gals, but I have my doubts as to it making us look half our ages again. And the ingrediants in the shampoo were pretty basic-I don't see where it helps with thinning hair that much. I read some online reviews and one woman was thrilled with the neck serum that she used everday. Maybe it's me, but if I use lotion on my chest and neck and wherever everyday, I get good results also. And I don't have to spend 3 times as much for a 3 times less. What is the big deal with the Pro Age line? Are they any better than regular shampoos, conditioners, and lotions?

Has anyone tried them? What's your conclusion?
