I give two thumbs down to this stuff. I have coarse, curly hair (straighten with a flat iron every other day) and this stuff wasn't all it was cracked up to be. It was touted as, "Jennifer Aniston uses it!" Um, so? I just didn't like the feel of my hair after using the shampoo and conditioner. Wasted $45, grrr, and I went back to my beloved Bed Head Dumb Blond.
I like certain salon brands, so sometimes I go to those beauty supply stores to see if they have any on sale. Normally I know exactly what I want, so the store ladies leave me alone and bother someone else. They always hold out some shampoo and be like, "oh this is what so and so uses." I stand there and chuckle most of the time.
However, once I went to a store and couldn't find the shampoo I wanted, so I asked one of the store ladies to help me. They persuaded me to get this brand that I've never heard of, and it's supposedly great and gentle and sulfate-free, and works just as well as the shampoo I was looking for. Without thinking much, I bought the 1.3 L size bottles of both the shampoo and conditioner. OMG, it's the WORST brand I have EVER used! And it was friggin expensive too!!!!
And yes, I'm weird like that. I like salon brands more since that's what I've been using for the longest time. I used to use Wella, but they discontinued the line. That sucks a lot because they had ridiculous sales that sold the 1 L bottles for just $10. Then I used Redken for a long time. Now I'm using that Nexxus brand (the one that was featured on that Bravo show) because I saw it advertised on TV, and it was at Costco. :P
Out of everything I've used, I think Redken works the best for me. I have color treated and permed hair, but on good days it feels almost natural! Oh.. I damage my hair so much because I have naturally flat, black, volumeless hair that was impossible to style, not to mention boring. :P
