Buying from Vending Machines
  • I saw this vending machine selling Pro-Activ products at the Century Mall in LA a few months ago. My first reaction was to laugh really loud, then to whip out my camera to take a picture. Unfortunately, the security guard came over and said that we weren't allowed to take pictures at the mall, so I snapped this one up secretly with my phone.

What do you guys think about purchasing skin care products via vending machines?

  • That's an interesting way to sell cosmetics. I would buy them but probably only products that I already knew. I'd also be more motivated if the products were less expensive from the vending machine but I doubt that's the case.
  • a vending machine would make sense in the bathroom where they already have them. (with condoms and painkillers usually). It'd be nice to be able to buy pantyliners and deodorant from known brands.
  • There is nothing wrong in using these products as long as this will treat you right. Also, cure for such depends per individual because it depends on what suits you.

  • There was a Sephora vending machine in the airport in Las Vegas, NV. I had never seen one before. They stocked the basics in it. I guess it would be great if you arrived and found that something you brought along had not survived and leaked out of the container.
