  • I've tried all the products. Personally I find the cleanser for oily skin a bit too strong, although it doesn't even foam. But I'm used to cleansing milks anyway. The moisturizer you are referring to is the one for dry skin. Texture wise the one for oily skin should be slightly more gel like, but the difference is not huge. If you have acne or skin inflammation I would advice the moisturizer for oily skin, this one contains more niacinamide and licorice extract to reduce oiliness and inflammation.

How would you describe your skin? Maybe you can take the skin analysis on the website of uncover? https://www.uncover-skincare.nl/huidanalyse
  • Thank you Peter. Do you have any recommendation for acne prone cleanser?
And do you think toner, exfoliator are necessary for routine skincare? And what do you think of the Uncover sunscreen 15?

A mild cleanser would be best, not a foaming cleanser. I have combination skin myself, but I like the Paula's Choice Calm Cleanser for Dry Skin and Skin Recovery Cleanser and some local brands. The Uncover Cleanser for dry skin is a very good surfactant free cleanser, but I am always wondering if it cleanses well enough.
I think an exfoliant with salicylic acid could be a very beneficial step, if you don't use any prescriptions yet. A toner is personal preference, I really like it. And you can also replace you moisturizer with a toner for example if you have oily skin. The uncover skincare SPF15 is very good, the best sunscreen actives out there, with a high concentrations of Niacinamide, Caffeine and Vitamin E. But it's only an spf15, the spf30 is rather white on skin.
