Best way to go about getting the info I'm hoping for

I'm fairly new to this forum and the whole concept of beauty products in general. I haven't worn makeup regularly since I was about 19 years old. I'm 44 now. I have a LOT of questions about a lot of things shampoos, makeup, lotions, that sort of thing, and I was hoping to discuss the specifics of my situation, but I wasn't sure how I should go about it.
Should I write a long explanatory post describing my situation regarding all these aspects, in the interest of giving sufficient information that people can offer more helpful answers? Or should I break it up into categories that mirror the fora here? Like, discuss make up in that forum, and hair in the hair forum, etc?
Does anyone have any thoughts about the best way for me to proceed? -
I would do whatever is easiest for you. If that's putting it all in one post then put it in "General". If it's easier of you to break it down into skin, hair, make up, etc then split it up. There are advantages to doing it both ways.
